When I was a little girl my Grandma was my favorite person.  I remember crying for hours in the car on our way home from a visit.  She lived about 3 hours away and I hated to leave.  I'm sure part of it had to do with the fact that I am the oldest Granddaughter and was treated like a princess when I was with my Grandma.  As I got older I gained a huge amount of respect for my
Grandmother and all that she had accomplished with limited resources.  With a limited education and while raising 12 kids she managed to start her own business.  She owned a Board and Care Business and at one point even expanded to a second location.  I've always been very proud of my Grandmother not only for her success in business but also for her character.  She is loving, kind, giving, patient and honest.  That's only a short list of her many great attributes.  I'd like to think of myself as the Modern version of my Grandmother.  We share many traits and I am still working on the others.  So, that is how I cam up with the name Modern Grace.  I am the modern version of my Grandmother Grace.  I am proud of my business name and I love my Grandmother. 
She is my inspiration and I hope I continue to make her proud.
